Yuhong Li is a technology lawyer who knows both law and computer technology. Before he became a lawyer, Yuhong had worked as a computer software engineer for more than 14 years at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington. He focuses his practice in the areas where law and computer technology converge. His practice provides services relating to expert testimony, e-discovery, privacy in data collection and social media, security breaches on the internet, and liability in cloud computing.
He helps clients in various areas including civil lawsuits, contract drafting and disputes, business transactions, real estate transactions, landlord and tenat disputes, startup companies, software licensing, technology transfer, trademark and other intellectual property protection, wills and trusts, and family law (divorce and prenuptial agreement).
He also devotes volunteer time to public service, defending tenants who are facing eviction disputes. The program is sponsored by King County Bar Association at the Housing Justice Project clinic.
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Yuhong worked in China, Japan and Canada. He is fluent in Chinese and English. He also has conversational ability in Japanese.
